A planet friendly approach for performance packaging is central to the Gordano approach. We know this is critical to our customers and we aim continually to place the preservation of the environment at the heart of our operations.
Creative packaging concepts take into account a wide range of sustainable practices, including the use of recycled materials and designing for recyclability. They focus on enabling reuse of finished products and incorporating planet-friendly materials wherever possible. These concepts also support services such as product replenishment and refurbishment, aiming to eliminate waste and reduce cubic volumetrics and weight for greater efficiency. By promoting smarter use of materials, conducting thorough manufacturing routing analysis, and considering the needs and behaviors of the end user, these strategies collectively contribute to more responsible and effective packaging solutions.
As a group we continually strive to improve understanding of our impact, taking micro actions, sometimes things that no one notices bu,t they create new behaviors which repeated over time produce dramatic change.
We increase our carbon knowledge, work to estimate our greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, minimizing our impact through targets set out in our Carbon Reduction Plan (CRP) and ultimately net zero. We continue to invest in our people, share knowledge, introduce new plant& machinery, energy flow into our facilities , increase R&D into new materials, new products, increasing our fleet of electric vehicles. As whole becoming more efficient and looking to eliminate waste. All of which in turn creates more value allowing us to reinvest … our own circular economy…helping us to help you.
